Finley just turned 10 months old yesterday...wow! Where has the time gone... I truly can't believe how fast this 1st year has flown by!? She is such a sweetie (she has lots of role-modeling from big sister!) and it seems like she has really started to become a bigger girl this past month. She is not quite walking, but has started standing for longer periods (several seconds) by herself and sufficiently cruising from one things to another. She also has started eating "people foods"; including turkey, cheese, muffins, some veggies and fruits (and LOVES it all), but will also still eat pretty much any baby food. Although, she definitely probably prefers to feed herself. Her vocabulary has started really taking off too (and she is doing a few signs with trying to say the words)...besides names, she says: "hhiiiiiiii" (hi), "byyee, byyee" (bye-bye), "ah dn" (all done), "duu or du du" (duck), "ba" (ball)...and she has started trying to repeat words when you ask her to. A few of the things she absolutely LOVES are her big sister, her big sister's sippy cups, sleep (she sleeps anywhere from 12-14 hours at night and takes 1-2 good naps during the day), her crib, her thumb, "night-nights" (just like big sis), dogs, and being outside doing anything! She does not like so much being told what she can and can't play with or put in her mouth, but we're working on that. She definitely completes our sweet little family and we are so grateful for both of our precious little girls!!
So exciting...the girls can finally take baths together! and they LOVE it!!
